GearWrench 56 piece ratcheting screwdriver set Model# 44013

My new GearWrench 56 piece ratcheting screwdriver set is by far one of the nicest kits under 20 dollars that I have ever purchased. It’s made up of 30 - 1/4 inch driver bits, 10 metric and 10 standard ¼ inch sockets. It comes with 4 extensions, a 6 inch magnetic bit holder, 6 in. socket holder, 10 inch socket holder, and a 10 inch flex shaft bit holder. A pair of ratcheting handles one is a T-handle and the other is a standard.

As far as the ratcheting mechanism, they have a clockwise, counter clockwise, and a standard fixed setting. The ratcheting mechanism is smooth and the standard handle feels good in my hand even though it’s made out of plastic.  I wish it was made out of aluminum like my Craftsman LED screwdriver that I previously reviewed HERE ,but for the price I paid  for the kit you really can’t complain too much. The T-handle is also made out of plastic but will give you the torque you need on those stubborn screws.

I do like the extensions the kit comes with. Especially the flexible one, now I did need to use my own ¼ inch socket adapter for it, that’s the only way that the sockets worked with the 10 inch flexible extension. All in all it’s a great set, it even comes with its own molded plastic case, I would recommend it to anyone who needs a ratcheting screwdriver.
