The Tool Review Guy: PIG Grippy Absorbent Mat Roll Drawer Liner

I was looking all over for a good set of drawer liners. Liner prices were all the way form a couple of dollars a roll, up to 8 dollars for a small roll. From researching the internet I got plenty of ideas from yoga mats to industrial carpet. I ended up getting a roll of Pig Grippy pads. The roll is huge, 16"x 50', and it was only 60 dollars delivered. It’s sticky as they clam, but not too bad, more like tacky, but can easily be pulled out with little upward effort. It feels like cotton with a rubber backing. Looks good inside the drawers, and cushions your tools.

OK, some tools like polished wrenches will slide if you slam the drawer, but that's not a big deal to me. It protects my tools, prevents my tools from scratching the metal drawer finish, they stay in place, and best of all they absorb oil spills that might happen by accident.

The mat is about the thickness of a U.S. Nickel. They are easy to cut with a razor, and after completing my 10 drawer 40" tool chest, I still had enough to cover a pair of 4 drawer 27" tool carts. Check out the pictures and video review.
