Knipex Diagonal Pliers, 8 Inch Long 12 Degree, Red/Blue Model # 74 22 200

Just purchased a set of Knipex Diagonal Pliers at Lowes for 18 dollars, they were on clearance along with the rest Knipex brand tools. They normally go for anywhere from 35 dollars up to 64 dollars. The average price that I have seen them for is around 38 dollars, so for 18 dollars they were a steal. Know you might be thinking why spend up to 64 dollars on a set of pliers, well if you’re an electrician, or just want one of the best made diagonal pliers out there you’re going to lean towards the Knipex brand. I tested them out on some 14-3 gauge solid copper Romex wire, and it cut right through without a hiccup. They left a nice clean cut. No doubt because they are new, but I think it will hold its sharp edge for a long time.

So if you’re a professional, well you don’t need me to tell you how good they are, now for the DIYer they might be overkill, but if you find them on clearance then why not, you’ll never need another set of diagonal pliers again.
