Craftsman 3 pc. Pry Bar Set in Tray Model# 43278

OK so you’re looking around for a large screw driver because you need to muscle something out or muscle something into place inside your engine bay.  Before you grab that oversized screwdriver, go and grab the proper tool for the job, Craftsman 3 pc. Pry Bar Set. It is a well built, heavy duty set of pry bars ranging from 12, 17, and 25 inches long. They have hard Plastic handles, and have a nice heft to them; the set weighs a little over 3.5 pounds. They
are made of high carbon steel, bar claws are bent at a 23 degree angle, and the best part for now they are made in U.S.A.

That’s right, not from China where most of all the new Craftsman tools are coming from. They are made by Wilde Tool Company here in the USA. Watch the video; at around 1:22 into the video you'll see how they make this particular pry bar.

The normal price at Sears is $ 39.99, at times they go down to $ 33.99. And if you wait for it to go on sale like I did, which happens about 3 times a year, you can get it for $ 19.99. At that price they are a steal, and worth every penny. Now the only gripe I have about them, can’t really say it’s a major problem, is the tray they come in. It’s made of cheap, packing plastic. I ended up throwing the tray in the trash. Like I said the tray is not that big of an issue, especially at $19.99. I put it to the test, on my 80 gallon compressor motor. It had shifted about half a inch and the pulley was not in line with the compressor unit. It squeaked and smelled at start up. Well I used the pry bar, loosened the bolts, and was able to nudge it back in place. After I tightened the bolts no more noise. Using a slotted screwdriver the last time didn't’ help at all, the pry bar worked great. So next time you see it on sale, get one, you will not be disappointed.
